ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE
Improving the lives of companion animals in Wayne County.
Applications for Spay & Neuter Assistance are Closed
We are a dedicated group of passionate individuals, united by our commitment to improving the well-being of companion animals within our community. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, our mission revolves around the core values of providing and promoting access to vital resources, education, and programs that elevate the lives of our furry friends.
Our multifaceted approach to animal welfare includes raising awareness, promoting responsible pet ownership, and advocating for spaying and neutering programs. We offer grants and community outreach to support local animal welfare groups, collaborate with shelters and rescues, and advocate for stronger animal protection laws, all in pursuit of a safer and happier world for animals.
Due to an overwhelming response, our spay/neuter application process is closed at this time. The process will reopen when additional funds are available. For those of you who do not need this service, PLEASE DONATE to this worthy cause! This process has demonstrated Wayne County residents want and need their pets spayed and neutered.
Congratulations to the AWL 2024-25 mascots!
